Prestatyn Town FC is pleased to announce the signing of Jack Higgins from Flint Town United.
The dynamic forward will be reunited with a number of his former teammates with whom he won promotion to the Welsh Premier League, and was indeed part of the Seasiders’ squad in the top flight last season.
Speaking on his return, Higgins said: “I’m delighted to be back playing at Prestatyn - a club very close to my heart. The opportunity to be back working under Gibbo was one I couldn’t turn down.
“It’s an exciting feeling to be back at Town and I can't wait to pull on the shirt and play in front of the great fans, who we are lucky to have. The ambitions and targets set by the Club for the next few seasons are clear - I’m confident they will be achieved and I look forward to playing my part in helping the club towards those goals.”
On his latest signing, Gibbo said: “I am delighted to welcome Jack back to the club, he's a player I really enjoyed working with in his previous stint here.
“When jack became available I spoke with him, and although he had a few other offers on the table it all came together really quickly - which is testament to Jack's desire to come back and play a part in rebuilding the club and getting us back to where we want to be. Jack is an accomplished footballer who is very clever in his movement and linking the play, he’s also a very cool finisher in front of goal, and - crucially - he knows the standard I expect from my players. Welcome back jack! I must also extend our thanks to Niall and Flint Town for helping the move happen so quickly.”
