Following the acquisition of Alec Williams from Aberystwyth Town, new boss Neil Gibson has moved quickly to add three more quality players to his ranks.
Prestatyn Town FC is therefore pleased to announce the signing of Oliver Buckley, Daniel Davies and Warren Adam from Rhyl, Meliden and Conwy Borough respectively.
Full of praise for his new additions, Gibbo said: “Danny is a versatile player who has excelled for Meliden in the last few seasons. He’s played for me previously at Prestatyn having come through the academy, u19’s and reserve teams to make his WPL debut at 17 years old. He’s someone who I feel will be a great asset to the club moving forwards. I’d also like to thank Meliden for their helpfulness the swift way they’ve dealt with the transfer. We look forward to having a close relationship with them in the future, as well as other local clubs.
“Warren is also someone who’s played for me in the last 3 seasons. He was a vital cog in the squad with his infectious attitude and obvious leadership qualities. He will be a real asset to the squad going forward.”
Continuing, the new boss said: “Oli is someone I enjoyed working with last season. Again - he has a fantastic attitude and is a real threat in front of goal with his movement and excellent finishing ability.
“Alec is someone with a wealth of experience at Cymru Alliance and Welsh Premier League level. He’s played for me for a number of years, and undoubtedly has the pace and ability to play in a number of positions that will enhance the squad. All four are lads that I’ve worked with in the past, and crucially they know the standard I set and what I expect from my players. A final thanks must go out to Paul Fazackerley, the new club secretary who has worked tirelessly to pull this all together this week.”
